The challenge
A working mozzarella packing and filling line had to be correctly de-energised, marked, dismantled, packed and loaded — with the electrical side handled so the line could later be reconnected and rebuilt.
- Dismantling with an electrical cabinet calls for correct shutdown and marking for re-connection and re-assembly.
- A tight 2-day window.
- Precise marking of the electrics and line components for the later installation.
Our approach
- 1
Survey & plan
Assessment of the line and a shutdown and dismantling scheme.
- 2
Engineering & rigging
A 3 t forklift, transport rollers and chain hoists.
- 3
Dismantling
Marking and de-energising the electrical cabinet and removing it; breaking down the conveyor belts and the filling machine.
- 4
Marking & packing
Marking of every unit and cable connection for re-assembly, packed for transport.
- 5
Load-out
Loading the equipment (transport and installation were out of scope).
What made it unusual
